Encyclopedic work in seven sections made up by thirty chapters, whose al-miǧdal title means "The Tower", compiled by ʿAmr Ibn Mattā al-Ṭirhānī (XI s.). The book is the critical Edition with front page italian Translation of Section 4th.

In the Introduction, after the Foreword about the Praise of Science and Education, the Author, in a refined Arabic Language (in rhyming Prose saǧʿ), presents some Details about his Life and the Work he has undertaken, and in the first Section (the Exposition) He states that man, through Creation, must recognize the Creator, one and eternal, endowed with Reason, living and wise, declaring that Science leads to the Creator and to Faith; in the second Section (the Building) explains in the first Chapter (the Summit) the Unity of God, his Essence and his Attributes; in the second Chapter (the Foundation) he explains the Humanity and Divinity of Christ and in the third Chapter (the Construction) he talks about the Trinity. In Section 3rd, the Author presents the Columns of the Tower: Baptism, Sacrifice and Mass, the Gospel and the Cross.

In the fourth section (this volume) presents the seven candelabra of the tower: pity, charity, prayer, fasting, mercy, humility, purity.
